8th Air Force A-2 Jacket
-I.D.ed to Sgt. Eugene P. Weslock ~ B-24 Gunner in the 790th Bomb Squadron, 467th Bomb Group, |8th Air Force.
He flew 30 missions in the ETO and supposedly several missions on the iconic B-24 "Witchcraft".   The jacket is an "Aero Leather Clothing Co." made in (size 38) .  Features an English made 790th Bomb Squadron patch to chest, evidence of a leather name strip now removed.  Original knit waistband with some mothing, remnants of knit cuffs.  The zipper pull is missing and the teeth have a split in a couple places.  Some paint spots on the jacket (as shown).
The leather shell is solid, but has some cuts into the leather (as shown).
Overall, a solid example with condition issues noted, but from an historic 8th Air Force Bomb Group!
$1,650.00

USAAF ATC / CBI Pilot's Type B-3 Shearling Flight Jacket

Named to "W.J. Sutton" - this is a rare (size 48) jacket, and an early 42' dated two-toned example.
A Government contract label and according to the drawing number and order number information this was made by "Berstein & Co." which I believe only made shearling clothing for the Government during WWII.  Features a nice theater made "India China Division - Air Transport Command" (ICDATC) patch to right chest and a standard decal on leather Air Trasport Command patch to left chest.
About the only issue on the jacket, the shearling has torn away a bit (about 6") towards the very top of the zipper run (as pictured), but is fairly un-noticeable with the jacket zipped up.
The zipper functions fine.  It displays beautifully!
$1650.00

" clean WWII original example featuring Australian made patches -
320th Bomb Squadron "Moby Dick" and 5th Air Force.

I would estimate a (size 40).
A solid original display example from a distinguished SWP unit.

95th Bomb Group 8th Air Force POW A-2 Jacket

 I.D.ed to Lt. Charles B.
